PROGRAM DETAIL :
Day 1: ARR-SIEM REAP (-/L/D)
Arrive Siem Reap, we head out to visit West Barray (the man-made lake built in 11th century) and the Angkor silk farm where collated in Puok, 16 km from Siem Reap, exhibition on silk and its process.
Afternoon we visit the “Les Artisans d’Angkor – Chantiers Ecoles” of Siem Reap renowned woodworking, stone carving and polychrome workshops and the Killing Field of Wat Thmei.
Tonight, we will have dinner with Aspara Dancing Performance.
Day 2: SIEM REAP (B/L/D)
After breakfast, proceed to Angkor Thom Area (Angkor Thom Temple South Gate, Bayon Temple, Baphuon Temple, Phimean Akas Temple, Elephants Terrace & Leper King Terrace, Royal Palace, Woman and Man Pond).
Proceed to visit Ta-Prom Temple.
After lunch, continue our journey to Angkor Wat Temple – one of the seven greatest architectural wonders of the world, built In between the 9th – 13th century.
In the late afternoon tour to Bakheng Hill for enjoying beautiful sunset.
Day 3: SIEM REAP-BATTAMBANG (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we drive by vehicle to Battambang (about 3-4 hours) and on arrival check in hotel.
After lunch, visit Wat Aik Phnom pagoda and Wat Aik Phnom temple dating back to the 11th century. Further stops include a visit of the Phnom Banon mountain temple and Phnom Sampeou Mountain with Wat Sampeou pagoda, from where you will enjoy spectacular views on the beautiful landscape. Learn about the cruel Khmer Rouge regime by visiting a group of caves nearby used as ‘killing caves’ by the Khmer Rouge, containing the skeletal remains of their victims.
Overnight in Battambang.
Day 4: BATTAMBANG-PHNOM PENH (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel, continue departure to Phnom Penh.
Upon arrival have your lunch before check in your hotel.
Afternoon, visit the Independent Monument (Vimean Ekareach) was inaugurated in 1958 to celebrate Cambodia’s independence from foreign rule. It now also serves as a monument to Cambodia’s war dead. It is the site of celebration and services on holidays such as Independence Day and Constitution Day.
Continue to visit the Naga Casino & Resort and enjoy 1Hour Sunset Cruise along the riverfront till dinner at local restaurant and accommodation at hotel.
Day 5: PHNOM PENH (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel; visit the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda. Located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles and the Wat Phnom Temple, Phnom Penh’s namesake, from where you can enjoy views over the tree-lined avenues of the city.
After lunch, visit the Notorious Tuol Sleng Museum, In 1975 Tuol Svay Prey High School was taken over by Pol Pot’s security forces and turned into a prison known as Security Prison 21 (S-21) and the Central Market (Psah Thom Thmey), a lively outdoor market where you will find antiquities, silver and gold jewelry, gems, silk, kramas, stone and wood carvings, as well as T-Shirts, CDs and other souvenirs .
Dinner at restaurant and accommodation at hotel.
Day 6: PHNOM PENH-DEP (B/-/-)
Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to airport for departure. End of services.
